			<description><![CDATA[ <p>This is a set of steak knives I did back in August. They were commissioned by a guy for whom I worked for a year as a gift for his father&#39;s 70th
birthday party. One knife per decade. I made these in about two weeks.</p>

<p>I don&#39;t really care for the design (it was the customer&#39;s), but I am pleased that it came out actually looking like a set instead of just seven
knives made to the same basic pattern.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Been trying some new things. A poured pewter ferrule on the knife. A deer rawhide covered sheath with bead work. With my old eyes and fingers, the sheath
took some time to complete. The bead work could be better, but for a first try, I am a bit proud of it. It was kind of tough working the beads around the
pewter turtle. The blade is forged 1084 and 5&quot;long.

			<description><![CDATA[ had to take a break from a huge wholesale order im working on so took a day or two to finish this one up.

1095 H.C. steel, differentially heat treated and tempered back to a blue instead of the usual bronze,

over all length is 15 1/2 inches with the blade at 9 inches in length. at its widest part it is 1 3/4 inches wide. it is 3/16s thick at the spine and has a
convex edge geometry.

handle material is Bubinga wood pinned with brass with the bolster being nickel silver also... ]]></description>

wrought iron. It a tang throw with the tang peened over. Polished to 220 sand paper. No edge yet.

Damascus bladed Scramasax. Turns out I have this one blade that I did a couple years ago and never finished into a knife. Voila! He likes it. Here are a couple
