there is some good info on the crucible too !! this is the only other place with respectable info ..
personally... If you read all the studies and accounts from the past it is possible to recreate wootz crucible steel... it is hard to get started but once your on the trail...... and put fire to crucible.... you begin to follow in the foot steps of the oriental smiths.... there is no turning back..
If you look at the past there was a couple historical figures that recreated wootz but they too did not reveal the recipes in detail... and then wootz fell into the shadows once again...
